An easy and traditional recipe for garlic spread with potatoes and lemon! The perfect side dish for fish!
Ingredients
4-5 big potatoes
5 cloves of garlic
1 cup of olive oil
½ cup of lemon juice
½ tsp of salt
Directions
Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them in half and then into small cubes. Put them in a pot with water to cover the potatoes and a little salt to boil
When you pierce them with the fork and they are soft (not to melt), strain them
Put them in a large bowl or in the pot itself and add the grated garlic and salt and press them with the potato masher that is for the puree to come together and melt
Continue to beat them and alternately add the oil and the lemon until all the ingredients are finished.
** If you want, add a little more lemon and a clove of garlic or less garlic. To your preference.
** If you let it sit for an hour before serving, the taste becomes even better.
