Green peas are a quick, healthy and nutricious meal
Ingredients
3-4 Servings
1 pound of green peas
1 onion
1/3 cup olive oil
1-2 tbs dill
2-3 potatoes
2 tbs of tomato paste
1 tsp salt (3 rounds)
¼ tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
Directions
Clean and wash the potatoes, and cut them into 6 pieces each potato. If they are small in 4 pieces
Wash the dill, and finely chop (not the stems)
Take the onion, clean it, wash it and grate it or use the chopper
In a large saucepan, put the olive oil
Add the onion
The onion will get a transparent color, stirring slowly
Pour the peas in the saucepan
Stir for 2-3 minutes.
Add the dill, the salt, the pepper and the sugar
And lastly add the tomato paste
Add water to cover the food well
Cook on medium to high heat
Stir from time to time.
When the water starts geting less and less be careful so it doesnt catch at the bottom of the pot
The food is ready when there is no water and it is left only with its sauce.
**you can have all your ingredients washed and cut before you start your recipe
**about 40-45 minutes
**20 minutes in pressure cooker and then let it boil without the lid so there is just the sauce left and no extra water
