KARIOKES FROM MELOMAKARONA

Leftover melomakarona! Don’t throw them away! Make kariokes! With a few ingredients!

Ingredients

15-20 melomakarona with nuts

2 tbs cocoa

1 cup crushed cookies

2 tbs chopped walnuts (optional)

2 baking chocolates (couvertures)

2 tbsp sunflower oil

Directions

Finely chop the cookies in the chopper and put them in a large bowl

Add the melomakarona and cocoa and (grated walnuts if you add) knead them together

Place the mixture on baking paper or cling wrap and roll it into a long stick to make them round or oval

Wrap it well around the edges and put it in the fridge to freeze for about an hour

Melt the baking chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave and add 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil

Take the candy stick out of the fridge and cut it into small slices, dip them one by one in the chocolate

With a fork, put them on a parchment paper to stabilize the chocolate

You can put them in the fridge or outside
