Taramosalata is a creamy spread that is usually consumed during fasting periods!
Ingredients
100grs. white tarama (2 heaped tablespoons) (fish roe)
1/3 cup of water
70 grs. Breadcrumbs
1 large onion
1 cup of olive oil
1 to 1 ½ lemons
Directions
Put the breadcrumbs and 15 tbs water in a large bowl using a mixer to combine
Grate the onion and put it in the bowl as well
Add the tarama and beat with the mixer
Continue mixing
Add the water
Add the oil and lemon little by little using one than the other until the ingredients are used up
Beat another five minutes and it’s ready
**If you want you can put less lemon
**if you would like it more creamy add a little oil
