An easy pizza recipe that is for all occasions! For an evening at home with friends, for a party and for a buffet! The vegan version is just as delicious!
Ingredients
dough
4 1/2 cups of flour
2 cups of water
1 tsp salt
½ tsp sugar
1 package instant yeast (7-9 grs)
sauce
Tomato sauce with onion or plain 350-400 grs.
½ tsp pepper
1 ½ tsps oregano
toppings
10 slices ham or turkey
5 slices bacon
1 small can of mushrooms (115 grs)0r 4-5 fresh mushrooms
1 bell pepper thinly sliced
600 grs mozzarella
Oil for the pan
Directions
In a big bowl. Put the flour and salt. Make a hole in the middle.
Add the water, yeast and the sugar.
Putting your hand in the middle of the water start going round and round taking the flour slowly until it has become a tough dough. If it is still sticky, add some flour.
Set aside and cover until its abput double in size.
In a small bowl put the tomato sauce, pepper and oregano, stir till the ingredients combine.
When the dough is ready.
Take a big pan either round or square. Or two medium pans and oil the bottom a bit so as the dough will not stick to it..
Empty your dough into the pan and press from the middle to the side so the dough covers all the whole pan and goes up a bit at the edges forming a thin crust.
Put the sauce all over the dough. If you are making two, split the dough and sauce in half.
Cut the slices of your ham or chicken into square pieces.
Put them on top of the sauce in rows leaving space in between.
Cut the bacon and put it sparingly in the pan.
Add the mushrooms
Add the cheese grated.
Add the peppers on top
Preheat oven at 200 degrees. And cook pizza until golden brown. About ½ hour depending on your oven.
May need to turn your oven to cook on the bottom for the last 10 minutes.
Vegan
The preparation for the dough and the sauce are the same.
For the topping: Tomato, onion, mushrooms, peppers, olives
** with this recipe you may make two medium thin pizzas
** when you have your pizzas ready you may cover them with saran wrap and put them in the freezer for future use
