GREEK OVEN BAKED SEA BREAM(Τsipoura)

Greece is famous for its blue waters and fresh seafood! One of the most famous fish in the Mediterranean is the sea bream!

Ingredients

Sea bream

Salt

pepper

oregano

1 Lemon

Directions

Preheat the oven

Put a baking paper in a pan

Wash the fish (which are already cleaned) and let them drain slightly

Oil the sea bream a little on both sides

Place them on the parchment paper

Add salt, pepper and oregano and turn them doing the same on the other side.  Also add a little inside the belly

Bake at 180 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes

Turning them at half of the baking time 20-25 minutes (they will have a golden color)

As soon as they are done, squeeze some lemon

**  If the fish is not cleaned remove the scales and insides of the stomach and then follow the above steps

**  The fish should be about the same size to bake evenly

**  You may also bake other large fish in the same way
