LINGUINE WITH SHRIMP

Shrimp with pasta is a dish you will love! With a fantastic sauce, spicy or not, it is delicious!

Ingredients

For the shrimps

18-20 shrimps frozen or fresh

2 tbsp oil

Salt

Pepper

Broth

6 cups of water

1 vegetable bouillon cube

For the sauce

 1 onion

2 cloves of garlic

5 tbs of olive oil

1 small hot pepper or ½-1 tsp pepper flakes (optional) for spicy

1 tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

½ tsp sugar

1 tbsp tomato paste

¾ package of linguini

Kefalotyri or parmesan cheese

Directions

In a pot, put 6 cups of water and a cube of vegetables to boil until the cube melts

Put the shrimps under running water to thaw, and remove the shells and the vein that is on the spine of the shrimp

Put them in a bowl and add 2 tbsp of olive oil, a little salt and pepper, mix

Place a deep frying pan or pot on a medium-high heat and sauté the shrimps for a minute to a golden brown on both sides

When they are ready, take them out on a plate

Grate the onion and garlic

In the same pan, put 5 tbs of olive oil, the onion, the garlic, the chopped pepper or the pepper flakes to sauté well

Add the tomato paste, salt, pepper and sugar

Stir and add the vegetable stock

As soon as it boils, add the linguine

Boil on medium heat for about 8-10 minutes, stirring often

When the linguine is boiled and there is a little sauce left, add the shrimps and mix

Add grated cheese (optional)
