PEPPERS FOR THE WINTER

It’s time to store peppers for the winter! It is the perfect vegetable that gives colour and taste, and adds well to most meals!

Ingredients

All colour peppers

Green, yellow, red, sweet peppers

Air tight freezer bags

Directions

Cut the top of the peppers and discard.

Wash the peppers well in and out so there isn’t any seeds left in them.

Cut in half length wise.

Place them one by one on the cutting board and cut in thin slices.

Place peppers on kitchen paper or a towel to dry well.

Put them in a big bowl and mix together.

Put them in the freezer bags, removing the air.

They are ready to freeze.

**No need to thaw.

** you may also freeze whole peppers.

**you can use them for pepper pies . Pizza. Meat with peppers.

  **Just about anything you would like.
