{"id":1178,"date":"2022-12-29T16:58:32","date_gmt":"2022-12-29T16:58:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aroundofsalt.com\/?p=1178"},"modified":"2022-12-30T12:54:41","modified_gmt":"2022-12-30T12:54:41","slug":"spaggeti-with-meat-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aroundofsalt.com\/?p=1178&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"SPAGHETTI  WITH MEAT SAUCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>A dish that is easy to make and is a childhood favourite!<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>Ingredients<\/h4>\n<h6>Servings 4-5<\/h6>\n<p>400 -500grs\u00a0 beef minced meat<\/p>\n<p>1 onion<\/p>\n<p>2 tbs of tomato paste<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp sugar<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc teaspoon cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc teaspoon pepper<\/p>\n<p>Olive oil<\/p>\n<p>1 pack of spaghetti (#6 or 10)<\/p>\n<p>2 tbs. sunflower oil<\/p>\n<p>Kefalotyri (or parmesan)<\/p>\n<h4>Directions<\/h4>\n<p>Add oil to cover the bottom of a medium saucepan.<\/p>\n<p>Clean and wash the onion and grate it (cutter or grater)<\/p>\n<p>. Add it to the pot and stir so it doesn\u2019t stick.<\/p>\n<p>Light the stove to medium heat.<\/p>\n<p>Once it is a translucent color, add the minced meat.<\/p>\n<p>Press lightly with a spoon and stir so it doesn\u2019t have any chunks. \u00a0If\u00a0 it starts sticking on the bottom of \u00a0the pot put some water to make it easier.<\/p>\n<p>When all the minced meat has turned white and there are no large chunks left, add water \u00a0halfway through the pot.<\/p>\n<p>Add the cinnamon, salt, pepper and tomato juice and sugar.<\/p>\n<p>When its left only with the sauce, remove it from the stove. And set aside<\/p>\n<p>In a bigger pot<\/p>\n<p>Add plenty of water and salt.<\/p>\n<p>Once the water boils (it makes big bubbles) add the spaghetti. I cut them in\u00a0 half.<\/p>\n<p>Boil them as the package says. If you prefer them a little harder (al dente)\u00a0 take them out a minute earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Strain them and pour some cold water.<\/p>\n<p>In the same saucepan put the vegetable oil.
