Made with chickpeas! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside!<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>Ingredients<\/h4>\n<p>250-300 gr. Chickpeas<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp falafel spices<b> **<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 tsp salt<\/p>\n<p>1-2 cloves of garlic<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd bunch of parsley<\/p>\n<p>1 medium onion<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp baking soda<\/p>\n<p>1 small hot pepper (optional)<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0** <\/b>1 tsp coriander powder, 1\/2 tsp cumin powder, 1\/4 tsp black pepper and 1\/4 tsp red chilli or cayenne powder<\/p>\n<h4>Directions<\/h4>\n<p>Place the chickpeas overnight in a big bowl with water that covers them well<\/p>\n<p>The following day wash the parsley without many stems<\/p>\n<p>Cut the onion in 4<\/p>\n<p>Clean the garlic<\/p>\n<p>Place the above ingredients in the blender and puree them well, if it is too thick, add 1 tsp of water<\/p>\n<p>Place the mixture in a bowl and add the salt and spices and the (<i>hot pepper <\/i>optional) add and <u>mix well <\/u><\/p>\n<p>Place the mixture in the refrigerator for one hour<\/p>\n<p>Before frying them, put the baking soda!\u00a0 To make them crispy!<\/p>\n<p>Form with two spoons, place mixture on one and cover on top with the other or with the special machine<\/p>\n<p>Fry in a small pot with plenty of oil in medium to high heat until they get a nice dark brown color, turning them once (lower the heat after it reaches\u00a0 a high temperature)<\/p>\n<p>Served with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aroundofsalt.com\/?p=1487&amp;lang=en\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">hummus<\/span><\/a> or in a pita bread<\/p>\n<p><b>** <\/b>Add soda just before frying otherwise they won\u2019t\u00a0 get crispy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Falafel is a traditional Middle Eastern food!
