<\/p>\n
1 kg of strawberries<\/p>\n
1 kg of sugar<\/p>\n
\u00bd cup water<\/p>\n
1 vanilla extract<\/p>\n
1-2 tsp lemon juice<\/p>\n
Cut the stem and wash the strawberries<\/p>\n
Put the strawberries in the pot<\/p>\n
Add the sugar and water<\/p>\n
Put them in the fridge for 2 hours<\/p>\n
Add the vanilla<\/p>\n
Let them boil for 3-4 minutes<\/p>\n
Remove the froth(skimming) that is on top<\/p>\n
Leave the dessert aside to cool well<\/p>\n
Once cool, carefully remove the strawberries on a plate without syrup<\/p>\n
Boil the syrup on its own until it thickens<\/p>\n
When it is ready, slowly put the strawberries back into the syrup<\/p>\n
Add the lemon juice<\/p>\n
Shake the pot<\/p>\n
Boil to bind again About 4-5 minutes<\/p>\n
Don’t want it to boil too much so the strawberries don’t melt completely<\/p>\n
Let it cool well<\/p>\n
Place in glass jars with syrup covering the strawberries, and refrigerate<\/p>\n
**<\/b> checking to see if the dessert has set,\u00a0 put a drop of syrup on a plate and it should stabilize lightly,\u00a0 don\u2019t want it to run down the plate like water<\/p>\n
