CHICKEN STEW

An easy, classic and traditional food! Accompanied with french fries, rice or mashed potatoes!

Ingredients

1 kg wings, legs or breast

6-7 tbsp olive oil

1 onion

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

¼ tsp cinnamon

2-3 cloves (optional)

½ cup sugar

Directions

Put the chicken in a pot of water and once it boils, throw it in the sink and wash it well and put it on a plate (you may omit this step)

Grate the onion and put it with the oil in the pot to fry

As soon as the onion changes color, add the chicken and turn it a little in the pot for 1-2 minutes

Add enough water to cover the chicken

Add in all the remaining ingredients

Stir well so the tomato paste is diluted

When it comes to a boil, lower the heat a little (from 9 to 6) and cover

As soon as their isn’t any water and it remains only with its sauce, it is ready,,

About 1 hour

Served with fries, white rice or mashed potatoes

** The cloves may be removed before serving

** Don’t forget to thoroughly wash the sink and the dishes that the chicken has come in contact with.
