Jam cookies for your coffee and for all hours of the day! With a dough that is easy to make!
Ingredients
2 eggs
2 cups of sugar
1 margarine (200gr)
3 capsles vanilla powder (1gr)
1 tsp baking powder
Zest from 1 orange
500 g of self-rising flour
Peach jam or any of your choice
Directions
Place the margarine and sugar in the mixer and beat for 30 seconds
Add the eggs, zest, baking powder and vanilla
Slowly add the flour (sifted)
Place a piece of baking paper (parchment paper) on the counter and pour the mixture
Roll out the dough (not too thin) it will double in volume when baked
Cut with a cookie cutter whatever design you prefer
Place baking paper (parchment paper) on the tray and put the cookies
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 8-10 minutes to get a golden brown color
Let them cool down well
Put jam on one biscuit and close it with another of the same shape
Place in a container with a cover
** The next day they will have softened and they will be perfect
** If you want them crunchy do not cover well
