A refreshing and light dessert for the hot days of summer! A beloved recipe from our childhood!
Ingredients
5 ½ cups milk
10 tbs sugar or 2/3 cup
2 sachets of Yoti vanilla cream (43g each)(vanilla pudding)
1 packet of biscuits rectangular (225g)
1 packet of cherry jelly (2 sachets)
Directions
In a saucepan, put the 5 cups of milk to heat
In another bowl, put the ½ cup of milk and add the two sachets of pudding and the sugar
Stir well to melt in the cold milk
Once the milk has warmed up a little, pour in the mixture and stir continuously so that it does not stick
Once it thickens, it is ready
In a container with a lid or pyrex, put a row of cookies
Spread half the pudding with a spoon
Add another layer of cookies and the remaining cream
Cover with cling film or a lid and put it in the fridge to cool
About two hours
Put two glasses of water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil
Pour in the two jello sachets and mix
Add two glasses of cold water and mix
Place the jello in the refrigerator to cool enough but not to set
When both are cool
Use a ladle to slowly pour the jelly over the dessert
Place it back in the refrigerator till the jello is set
** you will know that the cream is ready because it bubbles
** add the cream and jelly with a ladle so that it is spread slowly and the cookies do not move from their place
