WILD BOAR

An easy and delicious recipe for wild boar with a wonderful sauce! Cooked in the oven with vegetables!

Ingredients

1 cup vinegar for marinara

1.5-2 kg wild boar

2 tsp vinegar

1 ½ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

½ tsp oregano

1 tsp sugar

3 cloves garlic

2 onions

3 peppers

3 carrots

1 bay leaf

1/3 cup tomato sauce

¼ cup olive oil

¾ cup water

Directions

Wash and place the meat in a large bowl with the vinegar and enough water to cover the meat

Leave it for 12 hours (usually overnight)

The next day, rinse the meat and place it in a casserole dish

Add the vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano and sugar

Mix to coat all the meat

Wash and cut the peppers and onions into strips

Cut the garlic cloves in half

Peel and cut the carrots into circles

Add everything to the pan

Add the bay leaf, tomato sauce, oil and water

mix all together

Bake at 170* for about 2 ½ hours

Turn once and add a little water if necessary

** if you don’t have a casserole dish, place it on a pan and cover with aluminum foil
