1 tsp salt
1-2 cloves of garlic
½ bunch of parsley
1 medium onion
1 tsp baking soda
1 small hot pepper (optional)

Directions
Place the chickpeas overnight in a big bowl with water that covers them well
The following day wash the parsley without many stems
Cut the onion in 4

Place the above ingredients in the blender and puree them well, if it is too thick, add 1 tsp of water
Place the mixture in a bowl and add the salt and spices and the (hot pepper optional) add and mix well
Place the mixture in the refrigerator for one hour
Before frying them, put the baking soda! To make them crispy!
Form with two spoons, place mixture on one and cover on top with the other or with the special machine
Fry in a small pot with plenty of oil in medium to high heat until they get a nice dark brown color, turning them once (lower the heat after it reaches a high temperature)
Served with hummus or in a pita bread
** Add soda just before frying otherwise they won’t get crispy
