OAT BARS WITH PEANUT BUTTER

Easy no-bake oat bars make a perfect breakfast and healthy snack!

Ingredients

3 cups of old fashioned oats (250g)(quaker)

1 cup peanut butter (300g)

½ cup honey or maple syrup (150g)

1 couverture dark chocolate (optional) 125gr

Directions

Put the peanut butter and honey in a bowl and put it in the microwave to soften a little or in a bain-marie

Put the oats in another bowl

After the peanut butter is ready, pour it over the oats

Mix well with our hand

Place a baking sheet on a rectangular pan

Put the mixture and press it so that it is uniform in the pan

Melt the couverture and pour it over the mixture **

We spread it out so that it goes everywhere

Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour

Remove it from the pan with the greaseproof paper

Cut in half lengthwise and then vertically

You will get about 12-14 pieces depending on how big you want them

Wrap them individually with saran wrap (plastic wrap) or in an airtight container

They are stored in the refrigerator if covered with chocolate

** You may skip the couverture chocolate if you prefer
